Challenge: 

In 2021, a State Department of Public Health set out to raise awareness of its WIC program, which provides food assistance for women with young children, with the goal of increasing online registrations and inbound phone inquiries.


Solution:

We used a blended approach to target their audience of both native English and native Spanish language women with children under the age of 5 in the state. Tactics included Pre-Roll Video, Cross-Device Display and YouTube. Targeting included Language Targeting, Audience Targeting, Contextual Targeting, Search Retargeting.


Results:

Over the course of the 4-week campaign, Nexstar Digital's campaign delivered 3,081 clicks to the website and an 25% increase in online applications per week during the campaign.
